Please note the below amendments..

  • Match balls:

    • All balls for all carnivals (boys & girls) are white

    • QC staff will have these at each carnival on the first morning

  • Match start times:

    • PlayHQ will be the source of truth for all match start times – host zones are feeding that directly to Andrew Keyte to keep updated

    • A few carnivals have different start times for different days e.g., earlier start on final day

  • Leg side wides:

    • Leg side wides for U12, U13 & U14 carnivals are as set out in the overview (inside the protected area mark is a legal delivery)

    • Leg side wides for U15 carnivals and up will be as per the full PCs (anything down leg side is wide)

  • Inconsistency in optional retirements vs mandatory retirements:

    • All mandatory retirements remain the same where applicable

    • Minimum balls faced to qualify for ‘Retired Not Out’ included for U12 & U13 carnivals

      • Min 10 balls for T20s

      • Min 20 balls for 40 Over Match

      • Min 30 balls for 50 Over Match

  • Semi Finals:

    • In the event of a semi-final washout, the team that finished higher in their own pool will progress

    • Same ‘Super Over’ rules from Grand Final applies in semis – however, in the event of tied super overs teams are to continue playing (as long as time in a days play allows) super overs until a winner is decided. A tie at the end of allowed time will result in teams progressing to GF as per washout rule above.
